Gel documentation system microDOC Cleaver Scientific

 

Inexpensive, powerful, compact and easy-to-use documentation system with 24.1 MB CMOS camera. The large 8" screen allows viewing of different gels, films and membranes. Stand-alone device with 8 GB memory card and 58 mm ethidium bromide filter as standard. SYBR filter available as an option. Data transfer to a computer is possible with the optional TotalLab™ 1D software. Can be used in conjunction with any 21 x 21 cm UV transilluminator. Data can be stored on the memory card in RAW, TIFF-RGB and JPEG formats.

microDOC BASIC: The microDOC BASIC is a simple, low-cost system with a removable darkroom hood and 24.1-megapixel digital camera through which the gel can be viewed directly. This system can be supplied with the TotalLab™ 1D analysis software and a 21 x 21 cm transilluminator as an option.

TotalLab™ 1D software: Only supplied as part of a complete package. Its main tasks are: lane creation, background subtraction, band detection, profile deconvolution, and molecular size, pI and quantity calibration.

More sophisticated standalone software options are available for 1D applications that require band matching, array, colony counting and image ToolBox functionalities.
