Haemocytometer Cover Glasses Assistant

These cover glasses are used to cover cell suspensions in counting chambers. The cover glass is placed on the ridges of the counting chamber and adheres there due to the flatness of the contact surfaces. This precisely limits the height of the capillary gap between the chamber floor and the underside of the cover glass and defines the volume of the cell suspension above the counting grid.
